Badacsony Camping

The campsite has what you need for a comfortable stay: electricity, water, clean toilets and showers, and a kitchen. There’s a private beach with a lawn, a playground, and steps into the water. The shore stays shallow, so you have to walk a bit to reach around 120 cm deep. Reeds line both sides, and swans and ducks swim nearby. We stayed two nights. It’s fenced, quiet, and peaceful, and the town is a relaxed short walk away. There’s a little café at the campsite and a small sauna as well. A great place to camp.

I spent a couple of nights here and would come back. It’s a great spot for a few summer days, with everything needed for easy camping, and it’s very clean and well cared for. The staff are friendly and attentive, and you can rent paddle surf boards and other things to keep you occupied.

The waterfront is peaceful, and the bathrooms, showers, and kitchen are clean. Night security is good too, with a friendly guard on duty. We’ve been back three times now, and it still feels amazing, almost like coming home. The staff are the best, and don’t miss the restaurant by the entrance! 🔥👌

We called the day before arriving with our tent to check that there’d be room or to reserve a spot. The woman on the phone said it would be fine. After a four-hour drive, we got there and were told they had no space for us at all. That was awful customer service.
