The wines were excellent, and the lineup of Badacsony wines was thoughtfully chosen. Sommelier Gábor really knows his stuff and gave spot-on recommendations. The atmosphere was friendly, the service attentive, and the tasting felt special. Highly recommended!

Dinner was really good, and the service was pretty much fine. The room itself wasn’t anything special, and I’ve slept in plenty of more comfortable beds. There was also a squeaking noise from above our room in the evening.

The spa was clean and relaxing, and both breakfast and dinner had excellent spreads that were beautifully presented. We loved our two-night stay at Bonvino. It’s conveniently close to the train and bus stations, with plenty of wineries nearby. I’d come back.

Breakfast was really nice, and for the price the hotel is fine. Still, compared with other hotels at the Balaton, there’s room for improvement. Our room wasn’t very clean, with hairs in the shower and by the sink. There were no drinks in the minibar, and the snacks weren’t inviting. Dinner wasn’t appetising at all because all the meats were very dry.

The spa was clean, though small: there’s only one pool, one jacuzzi, and two Finnish saunas, with no steam bath or anything else. The room was pretty and clean, but the bathroom could be improved. The staff were helpful, the fine dining food was good, and I had a wonderful time.
