A fantastic spot, with lovely hosts.

Catharina and Zoltan made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was delicious and served until 10 AM. The accommodation is tastefully furnished and in a wonderful location, with great views over the lake and vineyards. We’ll definitely come back!

We really appreciated Zoltan picking us up at the train station in the pouring rain and dropping us off again. Without that, we might have arrived with soaked bags! He also helped us order food since we don’t speak Hungarian. Breakfast was excellent, and the house itself is gorgeous, with one of the best views outside. We were there during some rainy days, so I hope we can return when it’s sunny. His pets are lovely too, especially Bonzo, the gorgeous, exceptionally well-behaved dog. I can’t recommend staying with him enough.

We spent three nights here and enjoyed the quiet setting, with views from the garden and nearby wine terraces. It’s a nicely renovated property, and the owners kept to themselves. The dog was cute. Our room was functional and had air conditioning, though the smaller double room is very tiny, with a small bed, low ceiling, and a door to the bathroom. There’s no sound insulation between rooms or from the corridor. Breakfast has a variety of items, but they weren’t always replenished right away, so coffee could mean a rush among guests. During COVID Times, sharing an indoor table for breakfast felt uncomfortable, so we chose to eat outside. We still appreciated our stay.
