Hunguest Bál Resort Hotel

For our two nights, we had a large room with two beds, about 30 m2, and a bathroom/WC. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was quiet, especially on the street side. The hotel is well organized, has a modern design, and the staff are pleasant. Breakfast and dinner buffets offered a good variety of great food and drinks, mostly local. Cross the bridge just outside and you’re in a pleasant waterfront park with a nice hotel beach area. I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooftop bar has great views, though service was slow and the atmosphere felt dull. The pool is heated but set up more for jacuzzi use, so it’s hard to swim. There’s also a nice sauna and a few treatment and massage options, but we didn’t manage to book anything. Staff speak decent English, so communication was easy, and the rooms look modern and nice. However, cleanliness wasn’t great. We had a clogged sink and water kept pooling on the bathroom floor, which caused a bad smell. The food was okay overall, with a decent range. It’s a nice hotel at a fair price, but I don’t think it’s worth the high prices in peak season.

We had an excellent stay at Hunguest BÁL Resort. The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean, the wellness area is great, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended!

The food selection at breakfast and dinner was plentiful, and the hotel has been reconstructed. During our stay, work was being done on a door on our floor. When the hotel is full, the Wi-Fi is almost unusable. The elevators are a nightmare, especially in the morning. I waited over 5 minutes with luggage today, even though there are 4 elevators.
