Radnóti Home

Our two weeks in August at the Radnóti home in Balatonboglár gave us the peaceful break we needed in a busy, troubled world. We stayed on the ground floor of the spacious two-story villa, where the two bedrooms and tastefully furnished living room were very comfortable. The terrace was a lovely spot for spending time and sharing meals, and the green garden worked well for both relaxing and being active. It opens directly onto the lakeshore path lined with plane trees, whose shade was welcome on hot days, and the view from there is unique. Mrs. Bea deserves special mention for being so kind, attentive, and helpful. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel at home and cared for. The stay exceeded our expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend the house to anyone wanting a calm, friendly place to relax in Balatonboglár. We’re sure to return.

Bea was attentive and kind, and it felt like coming home. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The beaches and attractions were easy to reach, while the area itself was peaceful. From the garden and terrace, the closeness of Lake Balaton and the evening sunsets made for a memorable atmosphere. There was even a fun little search for the neighbor's 30-year-old turtle that keeps escaping, which made us smile and added to the holiday.

We all had a lovely time here, young and old alike. The host was very kind and helped us with everything. The house is only a few steps from Lake Balaton, and the view is unforgettable. I can only recommend this wonderful place!

The host is friendly, kind, and helpful. We’ve spent part of our holidays here several times, in this comfortable, well-equipped little place, set in its own garden in Boglár. It’s wonderfully peaceful and tastefully done. Being able to swim in Lake Balaton whenever we liked was a special treat, along with the views, sunsets, and long walks. There are shops nearby and plenty of places to see and visit.
