Very poor, absolutely no go!!! From the start, the staff tried to cheat us about the price and money, saying they had their own PRIVATE currency exchange rate. The kitchen was very dirty, and the living room or social area, whatever it was, was full of garbage and wet blankets. There were no curtains, and the street light was right at the window, so we slept with the light on all night. We couldn’t open the windows because of traffic all night, and there was no air conditioning in 38 C temperatures.

We only stayed one night at Nightingale before our transfer to Prague, and the hotel’s position was great. It’s one stop from the train station, and you can come out of metro station Blaha Lujza ter right at the building entrance. The room was a bit warm, though opening the window was difficult with the busy intersection outside and trams, buses, and cars passing all the time. Aside from that, we liked the stay.

The apartment we took on the 3rd floor was really spacious, and with the shades down it was quiet. The room facilities were mostly basic, but the value was very good. Helpful staff, a central location right above the M2 metro stop, and lots of shops plus a small shopping center just a few meters away. It’s one of the busiest squares, with a McDonald's, Subway, Burger King, patisserie, H&M, organic food store, three banks, pubs, bars, and an exchange office downstairs, all within a minute. Fine restaurants in the Novotel and Boscolo hotels are very close too. Kids friendly, pet friendly, friendly all around.

We were here just for one night, and it was the right choice. The room was clean and the towels were fresh. Good location and nice, skilled staff, everything we needed. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone 😺

The hostel is cheap and in a good spot near bus, metro, and tram stations. But the rooms and bathrooms weren’t clean, and you could hear every noise from other rooms and the hallway. On two of the three nights, noisy guests kept us from sleeping. I wouldn’t recommend staying more than one night, and even then only if you don’t have a better place to go.
