City Center Apartment

We won't be coming back. The apartment was close to everything in a nice area, but inside it was a huge letdown and nothing like the clean, comfortable place the photos led us to expect. There was a horrible damp, moldy smell, and we were afraid to open a window after someone seemed to have tried to get the key while we were out. The key safe had been reset to a different number when we returned. When I raised it with staff, they said they change the code regularly and told us to keep the key with us. They didn't address the cleanliness complaints, even after I sent photos. The place was very dirty. There was hair everywhere, including in the bed, so it hadn't been vacuumed. The kitchen tiles had grease, dirt, and hair on them, and the cutlery and plates were filthy, with food still on them. We had to wash it all ourselves before using anything. The washing machine was small and smelled bad. There was no dryer or drying rack, so we couldn't hang clothes to dry, which made the machine useless to us. The neighbors made it hard to rest, and we slept badly every night. They played loud music, sang, shouted at each other, slammed doors, or even ran the washing machine at 11 pm.
