Tribe Budapest Stadium

I've stayed at Tribe twice in the past year, and the location keeps working well for me, with an easy trip from the airport and to the city centre. The staff are brilliant and really helpful. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the food and drink are unreal. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay. The lobby is a lovely place to relax in the afternoon, and our room was spacious with an incredibly modern bathroom. It's a little out of the way from the city centre, though close to the metro and bus station.

The room was unbearably hot, around 29°C. There were no windows to open, and the air-conditioning was broken. Nobody was able or willing to fix it. We only found out later that this comfort problem has been recurring at the hotel for a long time. That's unacceptable for a place claiming to be modern and comfortable. TRIBE Budapest Stadium disappointed us from beginning to end. The staff came across cold and unwelcoming, like we were inconveniencing them. The restaurant's Asia-Mexico fusion food was bland, badly executed, and had no real flavor.

Our room felt very small, with barely enough space to open a suitcase. It might be fine with a small one. The hotel itself, though, was immaculate. They were always cleaning, and it smelled lovely. Front desk staff were kind, welcoming, helpful, and professional. Thank you. Breakfast had a really nice, fresh selection. The lunch and dinner menu is a bit limited, but what I tried was lovely: duck breast and goulash soup. The location was tricky for our nearby venue, though we easily got taxis into town. I think there's a tram opposite, but I'm not sure where it goes.
