Vas Villa

The location is superb, though the villa isn't right on the beach. There are two apartments, one on each floor. The upstairs one is the better choice, while the downstairs one has easier garden access and may suit children more. The balcony/terrace is great, even if the view is mostly rooftops or the garden. The landlord speaks fairly good English. For the price, it's worthwhile, but a few simple changes could make it much better. It was extremely clean, but comfort and everyday convenience could use work. The beds are small and have no mattress pads, so you can feel the springs. There’s no air conditioning, so it gets warm in summer, though several fans help. The bed linen was provided in the wrong size and left parts of the bed uncovered. There were no towels and no cleaning during our 12-night stay. There’s nowhere to hang clothes, with no hangers or wardrobe, though you can fold them away. The kitchen has a small coffee percolator, a microwave oven and a stove, but very little cutlery or glassware. The balcony/terrace is lovely. The downstairs apartment has a bath and the upstairs one a shower. There’s plenty of hot water, but the pipes are shared, so you can get an unexpected change while showering if the neighbors use water.
