I spent a week there on my first trip to Budapest. It was a good spot for sightseeing, with shops, malls, and places to relax nearby. The area was peaceful and quiet, and all the rooms were clean, well kept, and stocked with what you need.

The bathroom and fridge both smelled bad, and the curtains were very dirty. The bed linen looked used, then had perfume put on it. One night, a man and woman arrived without luggage, paid cash without registering, and made a lot of noise. It seemed like this sort of thing was common there. We realized too late it was a hotel for one-night stays.

It felt dirty and unsafe, with some really strange people around.

The bathrooms stank, and the washing machine didn't work. They wouldn't fix it or move me to another room. They also never said I'd be sharing, they just knocked and brought some random guy into my room, saying the other rooms were full. It was obvious they had plenty of empty rooms, though. They were rude, spoke no English, and offered no help with my bags. Don't go here.
