Hotel Family

The receptionist was nice to me, but the woman staying at the hotel came across as arrogant and indifferent. The worn-out apartment and hallway felt musty, like time had stopped. Staff weren't helpful at all, and without help my booking email wasn't even in their system. In summer, it's unpleasant to have no mosquito nets and air conditioning that doesn't work properly. After a long tiring day, don't expect to relax with the TV before your next outing, there's only one channel. They don't provide a "Do Not Disturb!" card, even though they have the right to enter the room. The supposed daily cleaning amounted to taking one half-liter plastic bottle out of the trash, and the musty towel wasn't replaced with a less musty one. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for experiences that match such a retro standard.

The pool was such a nice way to cool off in the heat, and the waiter even brought drinks and coffee over to us. One afternoon, while we were shivering by the water, he and the manager surprised us with slices of chilled watermelon. We spent three lovely days here with my girlfriend. The place was beautiful, tidy and clean, our room stayed comfortable thanks to the air conditioning, and the breakfast had plenty of choice with fresh bread and pastries. The staff were so kind and ready to help. We came home with lovely memories and will be back next year. Thanks to the manager and everyone on staff.

Tesco, restaurants and the beach are all within walking distance. We stayed three nights and found the hotel very nice. The staff were lovely and helpful, the pool was great, and breakfast had a good selection of cold cuts, cheese, vegetables, sausages and pastries. Our room was small, but it was clean and perfectly fine for sleeping.

The location made it easy to get to the station, Balaton, the small Tesco, the promenade, playground and harbor. We came for two nights, liked it so much that we added another, and László managed to keep us in the same room even though it took some arranging. I was there with my daughters, aged 18 and 6, and it worked well for both: the older one enjoyed the pool and sunbathing area, with direct access from our ground-floor room, while the younger one liked the swings, slides and sandbox. The pool was 24-26 degrees, a welcome way to cool down during the heat wave. We eat grain-free and dairy-free, and breakfast still suited us, with plant milk, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, vegetables and sausages. We'll definitely return.
