I stayed there in 2019. It’s a workers’ hostel, nothing more. If you want to risk getting bitten by bedbugs while you sleep, this is the place. :(

Run.
The rooms at Hotel Agro were terrible and smelled bad. The carpet was stained, the room was dirty, and the top of the fridge was sticky. There was water on the bathroom floor, but no mop, and the shower curtain was stained and dirty. They didn’t provide a working TV remote. WiFi only worked in the main building between 9am and 2pm. At breakfast, the rolls were sometimes two days old and the sausages were inedible. Parking was tight, and the owner’s only concern was making sure we didn’t park under the trees, even though there wasn’t enough space. The owner knew about all these problems. Advertising this place is an own goal.
The beds are worn out, and the furniture looks like it’s from the 80s, greasy and uncomfortable. The place is full of bedbugs and cobwebs, and cleaning isn’t done. Administration is slow, and it’s a painfully expensive place. The bathroom was caked in limescale, with a moldy, stained, smelly shower curtain and a foul drain. There was no hot water either. The fridge and rooms stank, and the dirt wasn’t cleaned up. We found spoiled food and socks in the refrigerator. Connectors were hanging out of the room walls, and one wire was broken. There were five lamps in the rooms, but only two worked, with 40-year-old bulbs, leaving us in semi-darkness, when they worked at all. The owner and staff were unkind. While we were resting, the owner came into the room several times a day with his own key, apparently out of curiosity. In short, this place is rundown and didn’t deserve three stars even back then. If you’ve been here and know this is true, please share it so others don’t have to go through it. Thank you 😠😠😠
There’s a lot this place could have going for it, and I can imagine people being happy to return if it were better cared for. The food was good, the garden is spacious and well kept, and the pool is large, though the disinfectant seemed so strong that we couldn’t stay in the water for long. Some staff were kind, while others seemed completely indifferent. The cleanliness was a serious problem. The high chairs were so dirty that we didn’t dare put the children in them, and although we asked for our room to be cleaned, it never was. It feels like the hotel is no longer being looked after, or that there simply isn’t enough capacity to put things right. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, so I wanted to mention the good points too.
