Szőlőlugas Vendégház

We had a welcome bottle of wine, and the owners and staff were very kind. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable, with good kitchen equipment, comfy beds, and a great terrace. It’s a peaceful area, with spacious parking right there. A lovely place to relax, and the town is great too. I recommend it.

It’s a 15-20 minute walk from the accommodation to Tagore promenade and Esterházy beach. The hosts are exceptionally kind and attentive, and the place itself is lovely, clean, and thoughtfully finished. Breakfast was delicious and generous.

I’ve stayed here before, and the renovation has made a big difference. The rooms are now modern, with new furniture and more comfortable beds. Old photos on Google Maps no longer show what the rooms are like. The location is great: it’s quiet, but still an easy walk to the beach and town. Breakfast is homemade, tasty, and a good portion for a reasonable price. Prices are in line with Balatonfured generally. The owners speak German, English, and Italian, and they’re lovely and helpful if you’re nice to them too. Real Hungarian hospitality. I’m a returning guest, and the place feels new and modern after the renovation. Don’t judge the rooms by those old pictures. The location gives you a break from the bustle while keeping the beach and town within easy walking distance. Breakfast is delicious and fairly priced, and the owners are friendly and helpful. Be nice to them, they deserve it. The price is typical for Balatonfured.

We’ll definitely come back. It’s a clean, well-equipped apartment with kind, helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and even included homemade jam.
