The breakfast had a nice range to choose from, and the rooms were comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and being close enough to reach the lake on foot or by bike. Thanks for having us, we'll come back!

The villa itself is clean and comfortable, with a lovely pool and great views of Balaton and the surrounding mountains. The proprietor came across as a rather grumpy old man, though. The sauna, jacuzzi, and massage bed are advertised as amenities, but he wouldn't let us use them and gave different excuses.

The village isn't the prettiest place on Balaton, but the hotel's bikes let you get out and explore the area. The staff were very nice and helped us with everything, including directions to the train.

Staying at Villa Astoria in Balatongyorok was a lovely experience. Mr. Gustav and his wife made us feel welcome, and the hotel had a warm, friendly atmosphere, comfortable rooms, nice service, and a swimming pool. Our family recommends Villa Astoria and Balatongyorok with all ten fingers. We were happy to be there and would gladly return to Villa Astoria and Balaton lake 😀.
