The staff were nice, and so was the hotel. Breakfast was very nice too.

It could use a refurbishment, though it wasn’t bad overall.

Breakfast was fine, but that was about the only part without problems. We stayed in one of the wooden houses in the holiday park, expecting it to be clean based on the photos online. It wasn’t. There were only two sockets downstairs and none upstairs. Under the bed we found sweets, bed bugs, dead bugs, and earpicks, and the bedroom was filthy. The bed linen was dirty and stained too. For the price, the bathroom was unbearable: we had no hot water once, and a blockage lasted two days while we were there. We also looked at the outdoor baths, where there was dirt inside, live and dead insects in the shower tray, and a disgusting-looking floor. We were supposed to have fried chicken legs for dinner, but got a raw, pink, bloody leg instead. All in all, a horrible place.

Beautiful trees and grass have grown here, though indoors it feels like time stopped 40-50 years ago. I spent one night in a wooden house, and when I arrived there were already spiders hitchhiking on the bed. They could have taken the key earlier. I’d recommend this place to people who love beautiful natural scenery and don’t care as much about the quality of their indoor sleep.
