We paid in advance, and he confirmed receiving it, so there was no misunderstanding. We had booked the apartment two months ahead for 11 people, for the August 20-23 long weekend, with four families looking forward to time by Lake Balaton. He canceled the reservation in the meantime, apparently after getting a better offer, but never told us. A few days before the trip I called to arrange a time, and only then did he blurt out what had happened and mumble something about a misunderstanding. I've rarely come across such a spineless, sneaky person. I wouldn't wish anyone to have to deal with someone like that.

The accommodation was clean, everything was usable, and the rooms were excellent. The yard is large enough to fit more guests comfortably, and our hosts did everything they could to make sure we went home with such a good experience. We were a group of 10 and could play music louder; an older couple lived next door, but we never even met them and they weren't bothered by the noise. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and we're grateful for everything. It's a bit of a walk to the Balaton shore and the train station, but both are reachable on foot. I can only recommend the place to everyone! 🥰❤️

The lady hosting us was nice, and the place was a perfect fit for a group of friends. It was good value, though a little far from the beach. :)
