It’s peaceful and comfortable, with everything together in one place and no frills. I’m so glad I found it after calling around and seeing what poor value the other places seemed to offer. The housekeeper really did her best to make guests feel welcome. I’d happily come back, and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, restful stay alone or with others. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. One tip: if you can’t get through to the lady, keep calling until she picks up 🙂

Aunt Éva was the best part of the stay. She was so kind and willing to help our friends with their trip. The accommodation was clean and had the facilities described. There’s lovely nature nearby, with the closest peak about an hour and a half’s hike away. The lake is a 20-minute walk, and the restaurant there has a beautiful setting, tasty food, large portions, and quick service. It’s usually full, so booking a table is a good idea. Thanks for having us!

The hosts were really nice, and the garden is lovely. Still, sharing the bathroom with other guests, which wasn’t mentioned in the description, took away from the stay. The beds were a bit uncomfortable too.

We return every year because we and our dogs love all the options for getting out and exploring. The mountain is right nearby, and breakfast each morning comes with a breathtaking view. You can cook or bake there, and Eger is close if you want a bit of city life.
