10 House

The location is excellent and the place seemed clean. We stayed four nights, and it's one floor above street level with no lift. Small shortages and faults kept making the stay less relaxing. There were almost no paper towels and only a couple rolls of toilet paper. The shower drain backed up, leaving us standing in water. Some food left for us was stale, including eggs I thought were meant as a welcome snack but had spoiled. The washing machine worked, but there were no detergent capsules, so we had to buy a whole box. The loft stairs had no rail on the right, which felt dangerous, especially walking down to the toilet half asleep at night. The internet was very poor regardless of the reception, and the TV didn't work. There were other little irritations too, like no black pepper, the very low ceiling by the washing machine where I hit my head, the wood floor, and an umbrella with a stock protection attached. There was always something to worry about or get annoyed by. The place needs more attention, including a stair rail, a fixed drain, detergent capsules, black pepper, and better internet.
