Abel Pension Budapest

The only thing we missed was proper shower supplies. There was just a small piece of soap, no shower gel or other little toiletries. You can use the kitchen, though, and borrow a hair dryer for your room, and everyone was very friendly. The rooms were cozy, warm and clean, with an old-fashioned feel in a good way. Breakfast included bread, cheese, ham, some vegetables, juice, tea and coffee. It was very quiet. The house is on the far side of the hill, so the location works well if you're driving or using public transport, and the bus stop is close. Walking to a busier street took us about 40 minutes.

The area felt peaceful and safe, with lots of greenery, and was really convenient. Niki was wonderful, always going out of her way when we needed something and making us feel welcome. We appreciated the hospitality and would definitely return.

Bring your own toothpaste, shampoo and toothbrush. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the very quiet neighborhood has tram stops nearby for getting around the city. The owner and staff were so friendly, and the place felt cozy and full of character. Our room and the rest of the hotel were cleaned every day. Breakfast wasn't the big meal we're used to, but there was plenty, including tasty cheese, ham and bread. I'd recommend it 10/10.

We really liked the atmosphere during our few days in Budapest. My friend and I chose this pension, and the owner and other staff were all very kind. It was comfortable and very clean, and breakfast was lovely. I'd definitely recommend it.
