We had very good communication with the host, and the instructions for getting in were clear. Arriving very late was no problem. The place was clean, with working air-conditioning and a well-equipped kitchen. Rooms were on the small side, and the bathrooms and toilets were shared, though clean and equipped. It’s on the third floor with a small lift, in the Jewish quarter, near buses and the metro and within walking distance of attractions.

The location was great, and we could walk into the city centre, but I had a bad experience with host Adam. The apartment looked nothing like the photos and the kitchen had barely any equipment, just 2 spoons. The entrance door seemed easy to get through if someone made a little effort. Adam asked me not to ruin his superhost rating, which I don’t think he deserved. He then left me a bad review, saying I’d registered 3 people, even though I’d told him the day before that 4 of us were coming.

The location was really good, and the staff were nice. Sadly, the rooms and the rest of the hostel weren’t very clean, and it smelled dusty.

It’s a cosy, pleasant flat with separate individually rented rooms, each with a double bed. After booking, the manager emails you instructions for getting in. There’s no reception open around the clock.

A beautiful, clean apartment and a great place to stay. I’d happily come back.
