The rooms were clean and nice, and the owners gave clear instructions for getting into the building. We just found the location too far from the busy restaurant and nightlife area for our plans in Budapest. It took 15-20 minutes to walk to the inner city, or 10-15 minutes by metro. Lovely place, just not ideally located for us.

The place was spotless, and check-in was easy with friendly staff. We even got a warm welcome from a fluffy golden retriever. Annabelle Bed and Breakfast is right by the Parliament Building, with a train station about 100 meters away and grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Very convenient for getting around Budapest, and I'd recommend it.

The location is great, but the rest fell well short of what I expected. This isn't really a hotel, just a building with four rooms. I stayed three nights, and the air conditioner and radiator both failed to work. The room key was cracked, which left me worried it might break off in the lock. There were insects in the room too, one on the bed and another on the wall. I can send the owners a video if they want to see it. Apart from the location, everything felt very basic.

The owner was welcoming and makes a great scrambled egg. My room was spacious, tidy and very clean when I arrived. The building is almost next to the Parliament building, close to the Danube and all the transport links. I've stayed at plenty of B&Bs, and this is one of the best. I'd give the stay 10/10. The host was really nice, and breakfast was good. It's a lovely little B&B in the middle of the city. The rooms matched their description, were clean and everything worked well. A pleasure to stay there.
