Barcelo Budapest

We slept really well here. The hotel is quiet even though the next street gets noisy at night, and our guide had said this central area was the best place to stay. The staff at reception were warm and helpful, even pointing us to a pizzeria just steps away when we asked where to get food at 2 a.m. They also arranged for our rooms to be together on one floor, which made things much easier. The rooms were spotless and modern, breakfast was delicious, and the location is right in the city center. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

Barman Bence made our stay especially memorable. He was professional and friendly, and seemed to win everyone over. The hotel is right in the middle of the city, so we could walk to the main sights, restaurants, and transport. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with what we needed to relax, and the staff were helpful and welcoming from arrival. Breakfast had plenty of fresh choices for different tastes. We had a wonderful stay at Barceló Budapest and would definitely return.

The lounge has plenty of room to sit around or get some work done, and the neighborhood is full of places to eat and explore. Although it’s a busy part of Budapest, outside noise never bothered me and I slept well. I’ve stayed here before as a woman traveling alone and would gladly come back. The room and hotel were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were attentive and professional. The housekeeper I saw most days was cheerful and helpful. Breakfast offered lots of choice, including fresh local food and healthy options. Try the semolina, it’s delicious. Budapest is a great city to visit.

Getting around was easy from this spot in Pest, and reception staff could book a taxi for trips farther across the city or the sad ride back to the airport. The rooms were clean and had deluxe balconies. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and Anna at the hotel bar made wonderful artwork with the cocktails. It’s a great base for exploring Budapest, and we recommend it.
