Bazar Hostel

The shared areas worked well for our whole group, and on our last evening we cooked together. There was enough room and the facilities were comfortable to use. The bunk beds were solid and clean, and the bathrooms were spotless and in perfect repair. I came with another teacher and 16 students aged 18 to 20, looking for an affordable place in a good location. I expected we'd have to give something up to get both, but we didn't. At least five staff members, including the owner, were friendly, patient, helpful, and flexible. For a trip like ours, it's hard to do better. Enjoy your stay!

The common room made the place feel almost like a family home, with comfy sofas, books, board games, and a well-equipped kitchen. There are washing machines and dryers too. The staff are lovely and welcoming, and since many of them travel themselves, they fit right in with the guests. One of my favorite hostels. Highly recommended!

The location puts you close to everything you might need in Budapest. I had a cozy, clean four-bed room with its own bathroom, and both the beds and mattresses felt nearly new and were really comfortable.

They run fun events and offer good deals. This locally owned hostel has a close-knit, family feel, and the staff are very friendly. They made me feel welcome in Budapest and know the city well.
