Our host was very gracious and met us promptly at the apartment entrance. The location is exceptional, close to Paprika Vendigo, an excellent, highly recommended restaurant, Kelleti Train Station, and many Budapest sights. The apartment had three beds and a colorful shower. In the kitchen, there was no microwave, the sink had no hot water, and we could have used more eating utensils.

Tamas was a wonderful host. He was so polite to me and my friends, and his tips for places to visit and restaurants in the city all worked out well for us. The flat itself was clean and orderly, with a welcoming wooden loft above a working, well-equipped kitchen. We found the beds comfortable and the bathroom spacious, especially the shower. For the lovely, suitable space you get, I thought the price was very fair. If I get the chance to return to Budapest, I’ll stay here again.

The host was very friendly and helpful, and the location is pretty good. But in August, with 35-degree heat outside, having no air conditioning was a big problem. The place could also use better upkeep and a more thorough clean. There are lots of stairs up to the fourth floor, and no elevator.

The landlord was very kind and took time to explain the city map. The building is beautiful and old, and the apartment has been recently remodeled. The kitchen utilities were okay, and the location was good. I did feel the apartment could have been a little cleaner.

Tamas is a really friendly host, and the apartment is big enough for three people to stay comfortably. There are lots of stairs to climb, but that’s no issue if you’re fit.
