The apartment was dirty, and on our first night the air conditioning didn't work. In the summer heat, that made it hard to sleep. The owners provided no decent service, either. I’d give it less than one star if I could. I’ll share photos of the apartment. They promised us a £50 refund, but it still hasn’t arrived. I filed a complaint through Booking and asked for my money back; it’s still being processed.

We slept well, and the air conditioning worked without the noise you get in some places. The apartment and host were great when we stayed in April 26. Some reviews here are quite old, so check Booking for more recent ones. The location is excellent, on a quiet street just off the main shopping street and a short walk from the Danube. The 100E bus stop, metro and trams are about five minutes away. We stayed four nights. These photos were taken as we were leaving, since we arrived late and forgot to take any when we got in. I’d happily stay again.

There are several 2+1 apartments in the building, with a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The price is around €118. They could use some maintenance: a pane in the door was broken, and some doors didn't close properly. Access to the apartments is from the attic, while the three underground floors are garages.

The apartment was unsanitary and, at best, mediocre. The photos give a misleading impression. The one good thing was that the owner was honest about canceling our reservation.
