Essential Hostel

The location was great, and I liked having curtains around the beds for privacy. The staff were friendly, and when I forgot my charger they lent me one for the stay. The bathrooms and showers weren’t particularly clean, which bothered me. Breakfast was basic but enough, though you’re better off getting there early because food can run low. You get what you pay for.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the location made it easy to reach the facilities nearby. They can provide a lock for a small deposit if you need to secure your things. Breakfast was very simple but good. The stay was as expected for the money, and it’s a great option for solo travelers.

The bathrooms and showers were clean, and the internet was fast and steady. The staff were exceptionally friendly, too. I had a really good time at the free wine tasting and trivia night. The beds were good, though I think the pillows should be replaced.

I liked the hostel’s design and general feel. It’s better than a typical hostel, with curtains on the bunks for some privacy and lockers for your belongings. The bathrooms were quite clean, though more hooks in the shower stalls would help with hanging clothes. My main concern was the broken ladder to the upper bunk, which could cause someone to fall. Breakfast is included, and the location is great with friendly staff. It’s relatively cheap and worth recommending.
