The food was the standout for me during my Thursday-to-Sunday stay at Benczúr Hotel. I'm not from Hungary, and I especially enjoyed trying the Hungarian specialties. The cooking felt refined, with at least one memorable dish at every lunch and dinner, and the desserts were just as good, an easy 10/10 each meal. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and pleasantly warm, and the service was excellent throughout. I was extremely satisfied and had nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with daily cleaning, and breakfast was plentiful. The service was amazing, too. The location makes it easy to get around Budapest, with the metro less than two minutes away. Heroes’ Square, City Park, and Széchenyi Thermal Baths are all about 10 minutes away.

A basic but clean room with a comfortable bed. The sound insulation could be better. Breakfast was good, and the location is very convenient in a safe neighborhood.

My mother and I spent three nights here for the Christmas markets in Budapest, and we have only good things to say. The hotel was clean, the staff were good, and it was warm inside, including in the room, which was reassuring in winter. Breakfast was great, with eggs, bread, juice, coffee, sausages, and more. Shops nearby made it easy to pick up food and drinks for the mini fridge. The location was great too, about a 15-minute walk from the Szechenyi thermal baths and close to the M1 metro line for getting anywhere. We recommend staying here!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay on the third floor. The room was older but good, and had perfect heating and a hot shower. There was a very good restaurant and a complete, exceptional breakfast room, though the attendant could have done a better job cleaning up after lunch. The location was great, close to everything, including Heroes Square, Vajdahunyad Castle, the Zoo, and other tourist attractions.
