The museum quarter location on the Pest side was a real plus, and breakfast was good. We slept well on the comfortable beds, though the rooms got much too warm at night. After our first night, we asked to switch rooms because the sloped dormer ceiling made half the first room too low. Staff were pleasant and helpful with the move. In the new room, the air conditioning controls seemed to be overridden, and the noisy fans kept running all night. We had to open the window and put up with construction noise nearby. Still, it was an enjoyable four-night stay.

The front desk staff were courteous, and there are plenty of restaurant choices about a 15-minute walk away. There isn't parking at the property, though an underground garage is roughly 300 metres away. My room was close to 27°C when I arrived, even though its control showed 20°C. I took a photo after opening the outside door to let in cooler air. The desk told me the system is set to heat in winter or cool in summer, so I had to leave my door open overnight to keep the room cool, with no screens. The shower was a little cramped.

Breakfast was good, and the hotel was quiet. The beds felt rather firm, though, and there was a lot of construction right beside the building. It also wasn't very kid-friendly, since the hot tub was restricted to ages 16 and up, which was a letdown. I probably should've rated it a 3, but the breakfast and quiet made it a 4.

For the price, this was perfect, with great service and good rates. The construction nearby was extensive, but it didn't really intrude. My one complaint is that there's no ice machine. I like cold drinks, so I had to ask the bartender to fill my own thermos with ice.

Really clean hotel in a perfect location, and I'd definitely come back. The spa was ideal, though the jacuzzi could use more frequent cleaning. Drinks at the hotel were reasonably priced too.
