House Octogon

The location was perfect, and the beds were comfortable. The AC worked well whether we felt hot or cold. Cleaning could be better, but everything else was great. It's not a luxury apartment, though it's just right if you only need somewhere to sleep.

The rooms were clean, and we got instructions covering the keys, AC, and extra charges. For the price, this little hotel did exactly what we needed, a place to rest our heads. It was close to metro and tram stops, restaurants, and bars. Climbing all those stairs after a few beers was a killer. It wasn't anything special, but we were happy with our choice.

After staff entered the room, some of my personal belongings disappeared. I had asked for cleaning, but the room wasn't properly cleaned at all. I found this intolerable and completely unacceptable, showing dishonesty, disrespect, and disregard for guest safety. I strongly warn anyone considering this property: don't trust it.

The woman I was in touch with was kind, funny, and really helpful. I felt welcome and comfortable, and would highly recommend the place. The building is pretty and historic, right next to the Spanish Embassy. The room was clean, with a bathroom and small kitchenette, and the quiet road is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and bars. It's very central and well connected. The A/C came in handy at 37°C.
