InterContinental Budapest by IHG

Our room looked a little dated, but it was clean and everything worked. We had a Donau view, which was stunning at night with the lights of Budavári Palota, the bridges, and river cruise ships passing by. Breakfast staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, and check-in and checkout were smooth and easy. A happy stay, thank you!

Geza was the highlight of our visit. His kindness, generosity, and hospitality made us feel incredibly comfortable, and he went above and beyond. We'd choose InterContinental again because of him. The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located, and the whole stay felt comfortable, well organized, and high quality.

We enjoyed the river view and the sight of Buda Castle and the Chain Bridge, and the hotel has good transport options. But the window seals weren't great, so traffic and riverside bar noise came through. The room felt fairly dated, and the minibar was extremely overpriced, though the complimentary coffee machine helped make up for that. The gym and spa were pretty good. The Corso bar and restaurant were pretty poor.

Mr. Jozsef helped us reserve a table at the famous New York Café, and everything was organized so smoothly that we didn't have to worry about a thing. He was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout. He also listened carefully to our room requests, made sure we got what we'd asked for, and had the room decorated to our preferences. Every detail felt thoughtful and exceeded our expectations. His dedication and genuine care made our visit memorable, and we're very grateful for his outstanding concierge service.
