Jack is a very helpful, kind guy, and I'd recommend the place. The location is very good, within a 20-25-minute walk of everything and even closer to public transportation. Book a room with a balcony and you'll also get a very nice view.

I booked the property about two weeks ahead, but the day before I was due to arrive, someone in my family died. I wrote to the owner to explain that I had to cancel because I couldn't stay there after the loss. He told me to come up with a better excuse and never return to his place. His reply was rude and completely lacking in professionalism or empathy.

We found the room clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood felt safe, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and lovely river views. It was easy to explore on foot: Erzsébet Bridge is only a short walk away, and the location made getting to both historic Buda and lively Pest simple. A great base for seeing Budapest.

The place was nicely arranged, and I really liked both the view and where it was. I'd definitely pick it again 😊

The apartment itself was clean, close to the center, and otherwise fine. The problem was the maintenance man, who was rude and aggressive while trying to instruct me and my family on how to shower because the shower mechanism was faulty and hadn't been cleaned. I couldn't believe he threatened a guest like that.
