It’s very clean and close to everything. The decor was cute, and the shower was okay. There’s no air conditioning, though Károly provides a fan. The road outside is loud, but I couldn’t hear it in my room and it didn’t bother me at all. I enjoyed my stay, and Budapest is just so beautiful.

At 30€ a night, I think this place deserves four stars. The flat itself is cozy, quiet, and close to the centre, the metro, and the Jewish quarter, so don’t let the shabby-looking courtyard put you off. I can recommend it, but a few things kept me from giving five stars. We got only one towel each, and a hand towel would have been useful. There was no tea towel, so we had to leave the plates to dry. There’s a washing machine but nowhere to hang the laundry, and the same issue applies to the ironing board.

The apartment was nice, but it was very hard to find, and we had a lot of problems with the owner. You need a local SIM card that can make calls to get inside.
