I arrived with my six-year-old child and my elderly mother, but we weren't allowed to check in early. I asked if we could use the toilet and was told there wasn't one available. They also wanted €5 to store our luggage. When I said it was unacceptable not to let my child use the toilet, they kindly told us to leave. The Booking messages shown above give an idea of this person's attitude toward guests and how they communicate. In the end, I took my family to a proper hotel in central Budapest instead of dealing with this disgrace. Here is what they wrote: “Congratulations on your brainpower. Instead of checking in at 4 PM, you showed up at 8 AM while the previous guest was still sleeping in the room. Then you demand nonsense like a waiting room that never existed and still doesn't exist. You got answers to everything. That doesn't qualify us, since you can't understand this and that you can't read or interpret what we said.”

The toilet door got stuck in the middle of the night, and it was horrible. I couldn't reach anyone all night because the staff wouldn't answer calls or messages. I had to go without using the toilet until morning, when I needed to leave for my flight. I also left some of my things inside because the door wouldn't open, and I couldn't take them. The staff's response to me is in the photo below. I'm really disappointed to have to give one star when there's no option for zero.

The staff were hospitable and informative, and the room was cozy. It felt homey and was relatively cheap compared with other hotels nearby. Public transport is very close, and its proximity to Budapest-Deli train station was my top priority. It met everything I needed, and it was the perfect place for me to rest and recover.

The rooms were clean, though there were ants, and the Wi-Fi was quite good. It's in a good location, about 10 minutes by car from the center. The price matches the quality, and the air conditioner worked, but our bed was damaged. I barely dealt with the service, so I can't really comment on it. A decent fit for a 2 star hotel.

Our room was clean and had everything we needed, and the private parking was a big plus. The hotel is near the city center, with a bus stop just two minutes away and good connections to other parts of town. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, welcomed us warmly, and explained the city's transport options and ticket prices.
