The room was nice and I slept really well. I stayed a couple of nights, and the hostel's location made it easy to walk to all the city's tourist spots, which saved me some money. Breakfast was good too, and the staff were super nice and always ready to help. I'd love to come back soon.

The location is perfect, and the receptionist was really helpful. Basically, it wasn't bad. What bothered me was the extra 2 Euro per night for tourist city tax, which I hadn't noticed when booking. Other hostels charge the actual 4% city tax, so this felt like a scam. There's just one bathroom for more than 20 people, and the kitchen is only open from 8 to 23. Sometimes there isn't any staff around. I understand, but they should tell you all this beforehand.

Staying here felt like coming home, with everyone making up one big family. The staff were friendlier than any I've met at a hostel before, and I had a wonderful time. It's also in a really great part of Budapest.

The hostel is right in the heart of pest, and it's super cheap with great staff. The beds were pretty comfy, and you get clean sheets and power points for your phone. There are two bathrooms but only one shower, so plan around that if you need one. A really great hostel.

The only little drawback is that there's one shower for the whole place, so sometimes you have to queue. Otherwise, everything was great, including the location. I felt welcome as soon as I arrived, and Camilo was attentive throughout, checking that people had what they needed and helping create a good vibe for the guests. I had a great stay at Oleander Hostel. Cheers, and thanks, Camilo!
