For such a cheap place, it was fine for a short trip. The bathroom was a bit dirty but acceptable, and although the bed wasn’t especially comfortable, I still slept well. The Wi-Fi worked well enough for a video call. I did wish the room door had a lock, and communication with the host could have been easier and better.

You get what you pay for, and there was nothing bad about the place itself. We had everything we needed and more, including a kitchen for breakfast, a fridge for wine, and ice I’d bought the previous weekend. It even felt better than a hotel room. The apartment has its own Pest atmosphere, though the standard is low, as is the price. The room door couldn’t be closed, and you share the apartment with other tenants, though not your room. That’s not necessarily a problem, but they may not be friendly. The walls carry sound like a philharmonic hall, so other people staying there will hear any louder noise. Better to take a party outside.

The location is nice and convenient, with a metro station and shops right nearby. But the bathroom was extremely dirty, and there was no cleaning lady. There was no paperwork at all. The bedroom door didn’t lock from the outside, which was a bigger issue because we shared the place with other tenants and the owner, who spent most of the day on his laptop in the kitchen or hall. Checkout was awful. While we were eating in the bedroom, the owner opened our door and said we had to leave in 10 minutes. He told us to leave the bedroom door open while we got ready. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
