The smell was unbearable, and the room was filthy. There were spiders and bugs, drink marks on the walls, and a dusty bed and pillows that were uncomfortable. We booked two nights but couldn’t manage more than one. I don’t understand the positive reviews for this hostel. When I complained, reception said they were denying it because they had very good staff and knew what they were capable of. I invited them to come see how dirty, dusty, and unkempt the room they’d given us was. At least they refunded us for the night we didn’t stay. Please look for somewhere better.

The place was clean and the staff were nice. It’s a cheap shelter for the night, and you can somehow get a few hours of sleep. The neighborhood is calm, but you hear everything happening in the building, from the water pipes to people rolling suitcases down the hall. The bathroom is quite old.

We planned to stay two nights, but left after the first. The rooms smelled like an old, heavily used ashtray, even though smoking isn’t allowed on-site, and the old beds were really uncomfortable. I wasn’t asking for much, just a couple of glasses or mugs, since there was no kettle, but apparently that was too much to expect. They offer free Wi-Fi, but don’t share the password anywhere, so it’s basically unusable. I mentioned the smell at reception and was told there was nothing they could do. Honestly, avoid it.
