Peter's Apartments

The photos didn't match what we found in the apartment, which was dirty and smelled musty even with the window open. The smell was mixed with a little cleaning product. In the kitchen, there were crumbs under the hob and microwave, a long hair stuck to the fridge, and another in the middle of the table. Both chairs were broken. We'd booked a room with an extra bed, but it had black stains. The bathroom was in bad shape too. There was mold starting on the ceiling, mold and limescale on the shower door, and the grout between the tiles was limescaled too. The toilet moved when we used it. Too bad you can't attach a picture.

Save yourself the bother. I don't know where the people who wrote good things about it stayed. The room was dirty and basic, with people constantly coming and going, so sleeping was impossible. The doorman yelled all night. When I went down to speak to him at 10:30 that night, he was asleep. You can't pay by card either. Avoid it if you can!

Getting into the city center is easy, and the staff were good. The price was reasonable and the location worked well. One thing to be aware of: when two people book online, they may not be a couple, so assigning them a room with one double bed can be a mistake. There was a smoking area somewhere close by, because the room smelled strongly of smoke even with the window shut.

We keep coming back because we love this place. The staff are kind, helpful, and make it feel family-like. Being right in the center makes it easy for us to get around, and the price for what you get is good.
