Small, clean, and affordable, a nice place to sleep for a few days.

What bothered me most was how dirty and worn the place felt. The rooms were tiny and untidy, with grimy doors and greasy curtains, awful rugs, a dirty chair, cobwebs everywhere, and parquet that creaked terribly. You could hear the neighbors walking, and they could hear you. The bed and refrigerator were the only real positives. I booked through Booking, where the listing described a hostel with double rooms and one bathroom shared between two rooms. In reality it was an apartment with rooms for rent, and there were three rooms, not two. The price was shown as €58 including VAT and city tax, but we paid €65. The listing also said the windows faced a garden 😁, but it was just a lawn. This was the most expensive place we rented in Budapest, and also the worst and dirtiest. The next day we moved to our favorite hostel, where a clean private room cost €12 a night for two. That's another story.
Bus 105 is close by and gets you straight to the city center in about 10-15 minutes. The surroundings were pleasant, though the accommodation itself was basic, with old furniture that's worn in places. I didn't think it was especially good value.
The room was comfortable and clean, with basic amenities. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the metro and a bus stop for the city center are nearby.
