The location made getting around easy: there’s a mall right across the street, a subway station nearby, and popular spots are within half an hour on public transit. Szandra was really friendly and ready to help whenever we had a problem. The apartment was spacious, reasonably priced, and had most of what we needed. The kitchen, though, was barely equipped: just pots, plates, and cutlery. I would’ve liked bowls, a grater, and a knife sharpener, especially since the knives couldn’t cut a tomato properly. An oven and freezer would’ve been nice too. I had to get creative when cooking, though there are plenty of good cafés and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed my stay in Budapest a lot. No place is perfect, but everything else was great.
