Radisson Blu Beke Hotel, Budapest

I stayed from 12/01 to 13/01 2026. The hotel is close to everything, with the bus and train station five minutes away and a larger shopping center right there too. It works well for business stays of 1-2 nights, as well as a city weekend or a week away. The staff on site really put the customer first, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. My room was spacious and modern, with a corner seating area with two armchairs and a table, plus a refrigerator. I’d rate the bed firmness 6, where 0 means sinking right through and 10 means lying on top of the mattress. There’s also a café and restaurant in the hotel. For breakfast, I’d give the selection 7 out of 10, from sparse to overwhelming, the quality 7 out of 10, from terrible to the highest possible, and the value for money 8 out of 10, from not worth it to absolutely worth it. I can’t think of any cons. Overall value for the stay was 8 out of 10, where 0 means throwing money away, 5 is break-even, and 10 is the highest profit.

The team made us feel welcome throughout, and the hotel was comfortable and well kept. Our room was spacious, quiet, and clean, with a very comfortable bed and thoughtful layout. Housekeeping kept it spotless, and the common spaces were modern and inviting. We also liked how easy it was to get around from here. Radisson Blu Budapest is near the center and beside a lovely park, with plenty of cafés and restaurants close by. It was a very enjoyable stay, and I’d happily return.

After spending the day walking around town in -5 degree weather, it was lovely to come back to a really warm room. We traveled as a couple with our corgi, and the hotel was pet friendly. The room was cleaned each morning, with fresh towels and bedding, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We left our car in the hotel parking lot and used the electric charger there. We had a great time in Budapest and would be happy to stay at Blu Beke again.

The windows let in a lot of noise from the main street, and our room was delayed by 45 minutes at check-in. A false fire alarm was another little shock, though these things happen. Still, the suite was huge, with a small surprise waiting in the room, and breakfast was fine, with plenty to choose from and a few unexpected extras. The hotel is close to everything on foot, and the staff were friendly. We had a good stay and would recommend it, especially as a four-star hotel. We’d come back if we get the chance.
