The great location is the only reason this gets any stars from me. The website called it a hotel, but the email described an apartment. What we found was more like a hostel, with a private room and bathroom but a shared kitchen. The bathroom was dirty and moldy, the toilet was dirty, and the whole room smelled bad. The shower door wouldn't close properly. The towels were still wet, so we had to dry off with one of our shirts. There were hand towels, but no dryer. The sheets were dirty, the bed was hard, and the pillow was lousy. At 2300 somebody was in the kitchen slamming drawers and making a lot of noise. Booking asked for our card number, but when we got there they wanted cash, which we didn't like. You get what you pay for, I guess. I wouldn't stay again unless I brought my own sheets, towels, and pillows.

We spent a night in this cozy, delightful place in the heart of Budapest. It was clean and comfortable, and I'd recommend it to friends and family.

The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful, but they pushed overpriced bus tour tickets. The same tickets were 20% cheaper elsewhere. There was no air conditioning, and it was too hot to sleep, with only a fan offered to cool us down. The place was disgustingly dirty, with dirt under all the furniture, including dirty cutlery and socks under the couch.

I loved staying here. The centre is right outside, so you can walk to the monuments and other interesting spots. There are loads of restaurants and bars nearby, which makes choosing one difficult. Such a great place.

The price is cheap, and the location is so close to the centre. One of the best hotels in Budapest for that, and I'd recommend it to friends and family.
