It’s right in the center, so getting to Budapest’s main sights barely calls for a car. The apartment is spacious and clean, with a big shower and an easy-to-use washing machine. The Wi-Fi is fiber and really fast. There’s a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, kettle, dishes, and plenty of amenities. A few paper towels and at least one dishwasher tablet would’ve been useful.

The only things I missed were a wardrobe and more than two kitchen chairs. Otherwise, the small two-story apartment had everything we needed, including two double beds, a kitchen, washing machine, and dishwasher. It’s close to the city center, quiet, and convenient for reaching attractions.

The apartment was unbelievably cramped and miserable. Despite being central, I wouldn’t recommend it even for free. The dirt was beyond description, and contacting szalas.hu got me nowhere. They promised an attic, but what we got was a hole on the ground floor. The 100-year-old TV and washing machine were among the many things that felt like lies. They changed our dirty sheets and took the trash, but the stay was still ruined. A nightmare.
