I stayed for at least a week at a relatively cheap price. It’s a good place for a longer stay, large and right in the heart of the city. I came here after a momentary separation from my wife and found a retreat. The other guests were always nice and friendly, and so was the owner. This is a good place for Israelis looking for some peace from the war. Come, I recommend it.

Finding the place was difficult because there’s no hostel sign outside. It’s on the top floor, you have to press door bell "31", and there’s no elevator. Inside, it’s very clean and simple, with good service, and it was quiet. There’s a small, clean kitchen, and they provide towels.

The host was very kind, and the rooms had air conditioning. The place was okay overall, though the kitchen and toilets felt a little outdated. It was easy enough to shower, and there’s a washing machine too. We preferred going into town for breakfast. The hostel seems to be getting more popular. Recommendable!

The staff were friendly, though they live at the hostel. The rest was a letdown. The mattress was so thin I could feel the bed bars against my back, even at 60 kg. I had to stay in one position all night to get any sleep. For 15e a night, I could have found somewhere much better. I spotted a cockroach by the shared “kitchen” as soon as I walked in. The photos make the place look like a social hostel, but it’s small and has some permanent residents over 50. It was also really hard to locate: there were no signs outside or directions in the email. I followed a Wolt delivery guy into the building, asked a neighbour, and still wasn’t sure I’d found the hostel even when I was at its door.

Bandi made us feel welcome from the start and was lovely throughout our stay. We had a really good time here and met some wonderful people. The beds were good, and there’s free coffee and tea in the morning. It’s near the center, too, so we only used public transport twice. We’d definitely recommend this hostel.
