The location is handy, with the metro and tram close by, and the bathrooms were fine. But after three nights, I felt the place was far too expensive for what it offered. The rooms were gloomy and depressing, and the basement kitchen smelled moldy and couldn't really be used. The receptionist was very nice, though. He seemed to be working around the clock every day we were there, and we felt bad for him.

We were six people staying one night, paying 25 euros each, and I expected at least basic cleanliness for that. The beds were stained, the showers were just pipes coming out of the walls, and my friend spotted a cockroach near the showers. It was easily the worst night I've had away from home so far. I nearly would have rather slept on a bench outside and kept my 25 euros.

The staff were warm and really accommodating, even after we had to rebook three times. For a cheap hostel, it's a lovely place. A fan would've helped in the rooms, but otherwise I had no complaints.

The rooms had plenty of space, and the 24-hour reception, laundry service, and friendly, helpful staff were all good. It was very cheap, so good value for the price. The location isn't great, though it is near a metro station. There was no air conditioning and the rooms got really hot and sweaty. The showers were a bit dodgy, but worked okay.

The staff were helpful and friendly, but the place itself felt very old, and we had to make our own beds. I found it a bit disappointing next to other hostels in Europe.
