The area made it easy to get around Budapest, and it felt quiet and safe. The outside of the residence was a little off-putting, but inside, my flat was lovely.

We were happy with the room for what we paid, and the neighborhood had plenty of bars and places to eat. It took about 20 minutes to walk to the city center. We stayed two nights, my boyfriend and I. The lower level could be laid out better. The bed was raised and reached by a ladder, and there was only an armchair and a chair downstairs. A small sofa would have fit and made it easier to relax. The bathroom hairdryer also didn't work for a long time. Apart from those things, everything was great.

Breakfast had freshly baked, warm croissants, and I could make orange juice from real oranges for the first time. Such a good idea. The staff were really friendly and professional, and could answer all my questions. The room was small, but warm and cozy, and the hotel was clean and tidy. I liked having a coffee machine and a gallery-style bed in the room. The bathroom was fine too, with very hot water and strong pressure in the shower. If I come back to Budapest, I'm pretty sure I'll stay here again sometime. Thanks.

The location was perfect, close to the center, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the price was good for what you get. Seems best for a short stay. My room faced the street and was noisy, especially at night. I couldn't tell if there was some biblical destruction outside or just a tram pulling into the station. The mattress was worn, I found used gum, and there was a crack in the ceiling above the bed.

We faced the main street and still slept well. If you book an affordable boutique hotel in the city center, some noise comes with it, as it does at city-center boutique hotels around the world. I don't get why people complain so much. The staff helped us with everything, and I'd recommend the place. The hotel was very conscious about energy use, which I respect. The street is full of bars, restaurants, and interesting shops.
