SmartApart

I liked the apartment and had no complaints about the room. It was spacious and cozy, with a small kitchen and all the equipment we needed. The check-in was the frustrating part. Nobody was at the apartment, and early check-in wasn't possible. They said the door code would arrive at 2 pm, but we only got it after messaging them on WhatsApp. We were left waiting outside in the rain for more than 30 minutes.

I've booked here more than 10 times and never run into any problems. The rooms are nice and clean, and getting in with a code is really convenient. It's easy to reach by public transport. Rooms facing the street can be quite noisy, but I can live with that.

The bed was comfy, the balcony was big, and the place had a nice, quiet vibe. The cleaning staff were a bit noisy in the morning, but it didn't bother me much. We had some trouble figuring out our room number when we arrived. Otherwise, everything was great.

We paid in advance for the room and parking after speaking directly with the owner, who assured us late check-in was possible. They asked for our estimated arrival time, my companion's name, and the car's license plate. When we got there, we were met by three men circling our car and asking questions. The only code we had wouldn't open the inner garage door, and we couldn't get into the garage or the building. As two women on our own, we felt extremely unsafe. The men stayed in the pouring rain for over an hour and kept harassing us. I would not consider this place safe for a woman traveling alone or a group of women. We tried calling and messaging several times, including the next day to discuss what had happened, but nobody answered. We left for our own safety and booked a hotel instead. This was the worst experience I've ever had, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend the place to anyone concerned about personal safety.
