Timeless Boutique Suites by BQA

The staff were so supportive and clearly cared about how our stay went. The accommodation was clean, stylish, and beautifully furnished. With restaurants, cafés, and attractions all just a few steps away in central Budapest, the location couldn't have been better. We had a real delight of a stay.

We were happy with what we paid and enjoyed our four nights here. For a couple, it worked well, especially since it’s right in the city centre and we could walk everywhere. The room was pretty clean, everything worked, and the room keeper cleaned daily, leaving fresh towels every two days. The check-in and bag drop instructions were clear, and we could ask questions over WhatsApp. We arrived at 1 am on the first night and got into the building and through the whole process ourselves in under five minutes, without any hassle. Finding the light switches was easy too. The two small drawbacks were that the rooms are smaller than they look in the photos, though that didn't bother us much since we were only there to sleep and shower, and the bathroom floor got a bit flooded when showering because the shower door didn't close all the way.

The milk they gave us was EXPIRED. Thankfully, we checked before drinking it. When we told the staff, all we got back was “it is a creamer”, which felt completely negligent and disrespectful after serving an expired food product. Check-in was another mess. There was never anyone at reception, just a bot on WhatsApp. We told the hotel our arrival time several times, but it still took us an hour to work out how to leave our luggage. The room was extremely small, the smallest I've ever stayed in, and very uncomfortable. It wasn't very clean, with hair on the floor and in the bedsheets, and there were moles flying around. The walls were in terrible shape, completely destroyed, and we could hear everything happening in other rooms. The rooms aren't comfortable and need renovation. The staff are a joke. I don't think this hotel will stay on the market much longer, and I wouldn't pay even 10% of what I paid.

At first the hotel seemed okay, but the air conditioning and refrigerator both stopped working. The very nice lady at reception said this happens sometimes, which shocked me. The rooms were dirty, with hair and dust everywhere, and the sheets were dirty too. The cleaning staff didn't clean. I can't recommend this hotel.
