The owner lets you store your luggage if you need to, and the location is central, about a 6-7 minute walk from the metro. My room, number 1, was a decent size for an apartment and had a big window, but it faced the street. Noise went on all night from rubbish collectors working late, people having fun, and sounds from the neighboring rooms. I couldn't sleep at all. Luckily I was only there for one night. The place was also quite small and wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom.

An old-style little guesthouse, with a clean apartment and good-value rooms in the Jewish quarter. The only drawback was the noise through the thin walls.

We didn't get any sleep during the night we stayed. The walls were paper thin, so we could hear everything other guests did, and there was street noise too. On top of that, the host was rude, unhelpful, and very unprofessional. There was an unbearable cigarette smell, apparently coming mostly from the guest in the next room. The walls also seemed to have absorbed years of smoking indoors. My wife was pregnant at the time, which made the smoke especially upsetting.

It really felt like home, and the owner was lovely. We couldn't check out by 10, but when we asked for a few extra minutes, she waited with a smile. That was very kind, and I'd definitely stay again next time. The place was easy to find, though make sure to read the owner's email before going. It clearly explains the entry PIN and how to get inside. Our room was ready, with the keys in the door.
