My four-night booking, from December 15 to December 19, ended early because the conditions became unbearable. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had, and I can’t understand how it is rated four stars. The room felt neglected and unwelcoming: it was dark and smelled bad. Housekeeping barely seemed to happen. On our first evening back, around 6:00 PM, neither the bathroom nor room bins had been emptied, the towels hadn’t been changed, and the bed hadn’t been made. I thought it might be a one-off, but the same things happened the next day too. There was no explanation or apology, and it felt like a repeated problem. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were old, dirty, and crumbling, and not fit to sleep on. When I asked reception for a more comfortable one, they gave me a decorative pillow that was unusable and felt almost like a joke. I’m attaching photos of their condition. Breakfast was another letdown. The dining area was poorly managed, there were no hard-boiled eggs, and the dispenser for hot and cold water was empty. No staff were around to help with that either. For what we paid, I can’t see what the money went toward. I’m very disappointed and frustrated, and regret choosing this hotel. I’d warn others against staying here. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The rooms were comfortable, the hotel was nice, and the food was delicious, but the service left us very disappointed. We forgot some belongings at checkout and contacted the hotel a few days later when we realized they were missing. They confirmed they’d found the items and said they would mail them to us. After several calls and further promises, nothing arrived. I emailed to ask for proof of delivery or tracking, and have had no reply for a month. That’s a very low standard of customer service, sorry.

We spent a week here with our three kids. The hotel was built in 2022, so everything felt new and looked beautiful. Our room was spacious enough for all of us and had a big balcony. The staff were friendly and spoke English and German. Breakfast was included, with plenty of tasty choices, and there’s a large parking lot. It’s right in central Bük. The kids could play in a corner of the restaurant during breakfast, and the restaurant also offered lunch or breakfast à la carte at any time. It looked four-star in both quality and prices. My one complaint is that our room wasn’t vacuumed at all during the week.

The food and drinks were great, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The rooms are spacious, new, and clean, with a smart TV and the main streaming services. The hotel is only a few kilometers from Bukfurdo thermae and 35 km from the Austrian border.

Really nice rooms, very clean, with a great shower and a good bed. The staff are friendly and the food is good. Definitely recommend this hotel.
