Réka Apartmanház

Top-notch.

We’ve stayed at Pension Reka Apartmanhaz twice now, and both visits were completely satisfying. It’s a clean, modern, simple place about 400 m from the main entrance to the Bükfürdo spa, near the Apartmán hotel. The house has two floors, with two terraces upstairs; downstairs there’s a separate area with a garden, fireplace and gazebo. The kitchen is basic but has a toaster, microwave and oven, and the bathroom is perfectly fine. Renata, the landlady, is very polite and creative. She communicates in all languages using a translator. I can only recommend it.

We had a lovely stay on the other side of the country. It’s a mini apartment, with a small bed.

The price and the short walk to the thermal swimming pool are real pluses. The apartment is tiny but clean and tastefully furnished. I found the beds too narrow, though. My bed was under a sloping ceiling, with the upstairs residents’ wooden staircase directly above my head. You could hear every heavy step overhead. It’s nice accommodation, just be aware of the noise.
